Hot Springs

We took Mason to the hot springs in downtown Steamboat to do a little swimming. He had so much fun and everybody kept telling us how cute he was-which of course we already knew!

Steamboat

We all came up to Steamboat for New Years to relax and do a little skiing. With this trip we realized there is no way we are going to be able to travel with out a very LARGE vehicle. We had David's car packed to the brim with no room to spare. Mason comes with a lot of baggage!

Playing in my jumparoo. If you look really close you can see my first tooth!!!! :-)

Mason and I walked down to have lunch with David, Andy and Cliff. He was the cutest little bear on the mountain!

Eating lunch like a big boy!

Mason's Baptism

We had Mason baptized last Sunday and he did such a great job-no tears at all. He took a little snooze during the first half of the service and we woke him up right before he was going to be baptized. In true Mason fashion he was a good boy and didn't make a single fuss! Ken only commented once on how heavy Mason was-he said it was a good thing he went to the gym the day before. I think of it as you don't need to go to the gym as long as you are carrying him around. :-) Thanks Sue for being our photographer!

Baby Toupee

Uncle David got Mason a toupee for Christmas so he wouldn't feel bad about being bald. It doesn't really fit his head so we got a few pictures before the meltdown!

Christmas Day

Mason didn't really get the whole present opening part of Christmas but he did enjoy ripping some tissue paper and sucking on some ribbon. :-)
Daddy gave him some help opening his presents!

Getting ready for Santa

Mason got to wear his Santa jams and it was a good thing he only had to wear them for one night because I don't think they will fit in a week or two.

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve is a big day in our family not only because it is Christmas Eve, but also because it is my mom's birthday! We went to church and Mason was a good boy as always!

Getting in some play time before church-trying to keep the outfit clean!

All dressed up with Daddy ready for church!

Christmas with Grandma and Grandpa Buchholz

Mason is such a lucky boy and had mulitple Christmases while we were home. He got some great toys from his Grandma and Grandpa and cousin and uncle.
Ripping open my first present!

He loved his wobbly penguin!

Things that spin make me very happy!

Reading some of my new books!

Messiest dinner EVER!

I think tonight is the record in our house for the messiest dinner ever! Tonight was one of the nights I didn't put a bib on him because his clothes were going right into the washer, obviously a bad choice!

Ham, peas and peaches everywhere!

How can you not love this face though?

This is what happens when you look like the pictures above..........sink bath time (which he loved-we will have to do more of those)

Chicago

We took a trip to Chicago this weekend to meet up with Uncle David and Cliff. We did a lot of shopping, ate waaaaayyyy too much delicious food, and had a ton of fun!

Mason was snug as a bug in a rug in his stroller sleeping bag! He was the warmest out of all of us on the Chicago streets.

Mason got to do some swimming with Daddy and Uncle David! He LOVES the water!

This has got to be one of my new favorite pictures of him. There was a ledge in the pool that he could stand on and he was banging on the side of the pool. Too cute!
