This just goes to show how much Mason loves to jump!

4 Wheeler
Here is a video of Mason riding his ATV around the house..............we are working on turning. :-)
Christmas Extravaganza
Santa was VERY good to Mason this year......he must have been a very good boy! ;-)
He was very excited to open his Elmo shirt. To quote him exactly, "ELMO!"
Reading one of his new books with Daddy.
Again, having just as much fun sitting on his presents as he did opening.
Checking out his new train tent.
Mason just had to take a Christmas Day hot tub with Uncle David and Daddy (don't worry, they cooled it down enough for him to get in).
Trying out his new plasma car. This kid has so many different cars and they each operate a different way. You make the plasma car go by moving the steering wheel back and forth. We thought it would be too hard for him, but once again he proved us wrong.
Here he is interrupting the game of hearts, which then turned into a bang on the table session.
Opening round 2 of gifts...........what could it be??????
These were some very cool wind-up toys that his grandma and grandpa found. I think the spinning clown was his favorite.
And still more gifts..............Mason is sooo loved!
Mason's New Ride
Santa came a day early for Mason and brought him a motorized 4 wheeler on Christmas Eve. Mom had originally said "NO" to the motorized car but Uncle David found one that was more Mason's size so I was overruled. This one fits him just perfect and he can ride it around the house until we have a driveway he can ride it around (hopefully soon).
At first he didn't hold the button down and was jerking himself back and forth on the car but he quickly realized he needed to hold the button down for a smooth ride. He is so smart!
We took it outside on the deck so he would have a longer stretch to ride on.
Kenzie followed her little buddy on the deck.
He thinks this is pretty fun!
Thanks for my new car Uncle David!

Swimming
Mason made a return visit to the Golden Rec Center because he has soooo much fun the last time he was there. This time was even better because Daddy got to go swimming with him.
He loved going down the frog slide! He has NO FEAR!
He was also quite brave walking in the water up to his chin..........probably would have kept walking into deeper water if Daddy didn't pull him back.
The best part of the day was when he went down the BIG slide. After he was done he looked a little shocked but immediately starting saying "please, please, please" to go on it again. We have a daredevil on our hands!

Chicago
We took our 6th annual Christmas trip (Mason's 2nd) to Chicago last weekend. Mason was another star traveler and all around best behaved boy ever on this trip. We visited the Shedd Aquarium, did some shopping, eating, swimming, visiting with good friends and more eating! A big storm blew in on Sunday which did not make for the greatest outdoor conditions and we were VERY lucky to make it home Sunday night. Apparently 1600 flights were cancelled our of Chicago on Sunday........YIKES!
Mason and Uncle Dave on the moving walkway.
He thought that was pretty neat!
Such and handsome boy!
One of my new favorite pictures.
Mason had pasta for dinner one night and he made quite a scene in the restaurant with his noodle eating skills. Everyone thought he was the cutest thing and loved watching him eat.
After he was done eating Mason entertained himself with the ipad. He is a little wiz on the ipad.
We did some swimming but Mason was more interested in sitting in the hot tub with the big kids. (He is just like his Dad)
We had a great time at the Shedd Aquarium. Mason loved looking at the fish and did a great job tracking the animals around the tanks. He really liked the turtles and penguins. He would point and say "Turtle, Turtle".
All bundled up for Michigan Ave!
Way up high having brunch on Sunday before we left.
Here is the link for all of our Chicago photos............lots of cute pasta pictures!

19 Months Old
Hard to believe Mason is now closer to 2 than 1. Where has my baby gone, he is now 19 months old!
For this month's picture he is sporting a snotty nose and a new bruise on his head. Both of which he acquired at school. :-)
This month he learned how to do "TOUCHDOWN". Not that any of the teams in Colroado are good at scoring those these days.

WILD MAN
A certain 19 month old learned how to jump. Now he likes to jump on EVERYTHING........beds, the couch, or even just the floor (ouch). Here are some action shots of him jumping on the couch.
Got some good air on that jump.
He also likes to yell when he jumps, if you couldn't tell by his open mouth. :-)
What are you looking at mom?!?!
Once he calmed down he sat in his chair and read a book before bed. Too cute!
This kid LOVES books!
Playground
We took Mason to the playground this past weekend and he just had a ball. He did the slide loop over and over and over again, couldn't get enough of it. Our fun came to an abrupt stop when he bounced his way off the bridge. MAJOR tears and hysterics for a while but nothing a snack and juice can't distract away from.
WHEEEEEEE.........He loves to slide!
Running across the bridge he later fell off. Luckily he fell on to the rubber/padded ground. :-)
He didn't mean to go down head first but he thought it was funny.
Such a happy boy!
