Ear Tubes Surgery

Mason got tubes put in on Friday morning. We had to get to the hospital at 6:40 so we went straight from bed to the car seat. He did a great job from start to finish. He was his happy giggly self and everyone at the hospital agreed with us that he is pretty darn cute! My biggest worry was that he would get hungry and be crabby but we were able to keep him distracted with toys and new people long enough to make it through. I wish I had a video of him when he got his "happy" meds because he was quite entertaining. He though mommy was the funniest person in the world and couldn't really hold his head upright. When he woke up from the procedure he was a little fussy but took his bottle like a champ and recovered nicely.

Getting ready to go......bright and early!

Waiting in his crib.

Getting his blood pressure taken.

Trying to distract him while he gets his blood pressure taken.

In his gown, ready to go!

It was way too big on him. He kept getting his legs caught when he tried to crawl.

Walking around his crib.........more like jumping around his crib.

I had to pull him away from the stuff on the wall numerous times.

After we were all done we got dressed and said bye to daddy and headed home. He is such a champ!

Naked Time

This round of meds Mason has been on has had some NASTY side-effects for our little guy-one being a bad diaper rash. Therefore, he has been getting a lot of naked time to dry out that cute tush. Last night he went chasing after Abby. Then this morning he had a messy surprise in his pjs and had to go directly into the sink to clean up. Needless to say, we will be so happy when these meds are done!

I'm gonna get you Abby!

If you could only hear the noises Abby was making-she was not impressed.

He likes his hat so much he even wants to wear it in the sink!

Not so sure about this............

Big Boys need Big Trucks

Mason got some new trucks this weekend as well as a new hard hat! He had a good time playing with his new toys and to our surprise didn't mind wearing the hard hat!

Who needs me to dig something?

This is pretty fun!

Off to do some building......or destroying in his case!

Sunny Day

We took Mason to the park this afternoon while our house was being inspected-beautiful day here, but really windy. He had a great time swinging and fun with Daddy on the little motorcycle. Good news is he wore his had and we tested out the shades too.

check out those bottom teeth

if you could only hear his giggle............

such a happy boy

Hold on tight!

My Boys!

Not too sure about these things.........but he looks cute!

Venturing Outside

We are getting more and more nice days in Madison and we spent a little time outside yesterday. On my list of things to buy is a hat for that bald head! :-)

A little hesitant at first

but he really wanted to get to his kitty

trying to figure out how to do this

YEAH, outside time!

trying to figure out what this green stuff is

going for a little walk

stopping for a photo-op

here I go.....try and catch me

taking it all in

How much is the cute baby in the window?

We are cruising all over the house these days and he took a pit-stop to look out the front window for a while (and bang on the window too).

He found something new......

Mason walked his way into the bathroom (using his walker-not on his own yet) and discovered something new. I found this cute and funny at the time but, I know it is going to get old really fast!

Attack of the Starfish

Mason has a starfish he plays with in the tub that sprays water up like a fountain. Well, the starfish got a little out of control and Mason got a face full of water. Mom and Dad found it pretty funny..............does that make us bad parents? :-)

Plane Ride

Mason found it awfully funny to hit the seat in front of him on our way to Denver last week and found it even funnier when Andy pulled his hand back. His flying days are numbered...............

Back at School

Mason missed his teachers and friends and was very happy to be back at school today! Mom and Dad missed his tons while we were in Mexico.
