Sledding down the Driveway

Here are some videos of Mason and Andy sledding down the driveway!

SNOW, SNOW, SNOW

We just had a major storm roll through town and the weather people did a GREAT job of predicting how much snow we would get. (Can you sense my sarcasm?) They had predicted 8-16" and we ended up with over 28". Good thing Baby #2 didn't want to come out last night or I would have been in trouble!

Here are some pics from our snowy morning!

Santa 2011

Mason has been so excited for Santa to come we thought visiting him would go better than last year. Not the case! He was excited while waiting in line and told us what he wanted from Santa (Choo-choos), but as soon as he was on Santa's lap it was over. Crying and major wiggling to try and get out of Santa's hands. He did manage to tell Santa what he wanted inbetween his yells for mommy. This is the best picture we got. Oh well……..better luck next year?

My Kooky Kid

Mason is always giving us a laugh or making us smile in some way……here are some of the latest funny Mason shots.

I had just picked him up from school and it was sunny out so he had toput his sunglasses on. Such a ham!

Reading up on the new vacuum.

"Helping" mommy use the round-a-round. Which he then carried around the house when we were done making cookies.

Skiing Videos

Here are a couple of videos from Mason's first time skiing.

This one is his first time riding the magic carpet (his favorite).

The next video is his making his way down the bunny hill. He did such a great job!

Tree Decorating

Mason has his own Christmas tree in the basement that he got to decorate. He mainly put all the ornaments/candy canes at the bottom (and in one spot). Every night when we go down to bed he turns on his tree and moves some of the ornaments around. It is too funny. Also, please excuse my coughing on the video, this is when I was in the middle of my nasty cold. :(

Daredevil

Lately, Mason has been taking the cushions off the couch and making tunnels with them. This day, he decided to walk on top of the cushions. This kid has no fear!

Playground

Before all of our snow, we had a couple of nice days where we went to the playground. Mason is getting so good at climbing all over the structures. Only gave mommy a few scares!

Mason Goes Skiing

Mason went skiing this weekend with Daddy and Uncle David. I stayed home because I wasn't feeling well (not that I would have been able to ski) and the boys did a great job of getting lots of pictures of his first time down the mountain!

Skiing

Well, this weekend is our first trip to the mountains since the ski resorts opened. Mason tried on his boots to get ready to ski for the first time. He practiced walking around the living room with his boots on. This should be interesting when he is all bundled up and out in the snow. :-)

Thanksgiving

It was beautiful here on Thanksgiving, almost 70 degrees in the city. We spent the day at Cliff's new house and we brought Mason's jeep over for a little backyard fun. Daddy and Uncle David had to chase after him a couple of times he was headed WAY down the hill. Mason would crack up anytime someone would chase him.

Also fit in a little hottub time.

Tried to take a family picture but that is never easy with a 2 1/2 year old.

This one just cracks me up……Mason at his best!

Then we tried to get our own family picture and that was just at difficult.

Couldn't ever get all 3 of us looking at the same time.
Oh well, he is still pretty cute!

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!

Projects

Andy has been working hard around the house getting projects done before #2 arrives. Here are some pictures of his hard work.

New light fixture over the dining room table.

Mini can lights over the island.

TV hung up in the kitchen.

Picture of all 3. Love having more light in the kitchen and having a tv to watch while cooking (not that the living room tv isn't big enough). :-)

Re-done pantry! I didn't like my pantry before so Andy cut the shelves so they are more usable and we can step into it now.

Lots of projects in the nursery.

New dimmer switches so I am not blinded in the middle of the night for feedings.

New light fixture.

Quilt hung…….

Blinds and curtains hung.

My main project was in the closet. Washing and organizing clothes!

It was too quiet…...

And this is what I found………diaper bag completely emptied out on the floor and Mason rummaging through a drawer looking for tools.

Reality Check

Starting to get things together for the newest addition and looking at the tiny diapers kinda put things into perspective as to what is coming our way. Mason ended in a size 5 and the little diaper is a size 1. YIKES!

Big Brother Practice

Mason's buddy Miller is just learning how to walk and Mason did a good job of holding his hand to help him. We had to slow him down a bit though so he wouldn't pull Miller over.
