Riding the Snowcat

Last weekend Mason and I took the snowcat up to meet the boys for lunch. He loved looking out the window and the skiers and he loved it even more when the snowcat's siren went off.

Hammock

Jumping in the Pool

Mexico Take 2

Andy had ANOTHER week off so we ventured back to our home away from home, Cabo. This time Mason was soooooo much more comfortable at the beach and loved the ocean. He was also much more brave in the pool and jumped in from standing (video coming soon). Other than it being a little cooler than last time we had a great trip!

Waiting for our bags in the airport.

Getting ready for his morning walk with mom.

Checking out the tide pools. He freaked out a bit when his feet started sinking into the sand....it was pretty funny.

All smiles for the camera!

I LOVE THIS PLACE!

Checking out the ocean with Daddy.

Strolling the beach with Uncle Dave.

Makin' deals.......

Hello?...... Hello?......Hello?

Fun in the hot tub with Daddy.

Negotiating for a Spiderman kite with Uncle Dave on the beach.

Burying Daddy in the sand. Mason mostly wanted to throw the sand up in the air.

Playing in the hammock...........this got a lot of giggles!

20 Months Old

My baby is 4 months away from being 2! Where has the past 20 months gone?!?!

Just in the past month he is talking more, loving going to school on Tues & Thurs, singing songs, running even faster, blowing bubbles in the tub, and showing us how much smarter he is everyday. He has also had another month to work on his attitude and temper (dinner time in our house is becoming more and more fun). ;-)

Here he is cuddling with his bubby (as he does every morning).

Saying "CHEESE" for the camera.

He is such a ham!

Ok Mom, I have had enough and I want down!

ELMO!

Mason loves Elmo and as you can see he also loves playing on the ipad. The only thing that can distract him enough to put the ipad down is Elmo.

He also got a new Elmo shirt for Christmas which he loves. He rubs his tummy and says "ELMO!".

My tech savvy baby!

A Trip to the Dentist

We took our first trip to the dentist today. Mason did great (considering how it could have gone). He has all but 4 of his teeth (the back 4 molars) which are called the 2 year molars. There was some yelling and a lot of squirming when she tried to look in his mouth but luckily she was VERY quick at counting his teeth and it was over quick!

The dentist thought everything looked great and she said they would "attempt" to do a cleaning at the next appointment. YIKES...........that should be interesting!

Holding his new toothbrush he picked out.

He bolted from the chair as soon as he was done! ;-)

Jumping

Mason is loving his new trampoline............JUMP, JUMP, JUMP!

Mommys slippers

Snow Jammies

Mason finally got to wear his snow jammies while we were in the mountains. He made us laugh because he kept unzipping them......such a little ladies man!

Always smiling for the camera!

He practiced his touchdown arms!

He also found Mommy's slippers and walked around in them for a while.

He got pretty good in the slippers but freaked out a bit when I tried to put him in my Ugg boots. Probably because they went all the way up his legs. :-)

Playing in the Snow

Mason and I played outside at Beaver Creek and had lots of fun in the snow.

He did a really good job walking around all bundled up in his snow clothes and boots.

He was very interested in the chair lift........soon enough he will be riding on it with us.

Then he got distracted when the snowmobile pulled up.

The nice driver offered us a ride up a hill and Mason even to sit in his own seat.

Mommy and Mason on the snowmobile.

And it even got better........he got to sit on the actual snowmobile and pretend to drive. He LOVED that!

He also was fascinated by the skis. Daddy even bought him a pair of little skis that strap to his snow boots but we haven't tried them yet because he had a little cold and the temp was waaayyy to cold out the rest of the weekend. Soon enough he will be flying down the hill!

Sledding fun

Thursday was the only warm enough day in Beaver Creek to take Mason outside to play in the snow (it was 20 compared to 0 and 5 on Friday and Saturday). I guess he isn't the Wisconsin tough baby anymore. He got to go on a snowcat ride up the mountain and did a little sledding at the base of the hill.
