Big Boy Bike

Mason recently got a big boy bike and loves riding it. However, he does NOT love wearing his helmet. Unfortunately, no helmet=no bike riding. He is getting better at wearing it, but still likes to put up a protest.

 Daddy reattaching the helmet.

Ready to go!

Whee...........

I have a feeling this driveway is going to be trouble someday.

Back to disliking the helmet.........

Distracted by the big hill again!

And.......we're done!

What can I say, he's 2! :-)

Good News & Bad News

Well, I got some good and bad news today. The bad news is that my bleed was not any smaller than last week. Kinda getting used to that news. But, the good news is that the OB I saw today said I could SLOWLY start adding light activity into my day! He felt that bed rest didn't always make a significant difference in women with subchorionic hemorrhages and that I could gauge my activity based on the bleeding.

So, I will take that news and roll with it!

The ultrasound tech gave us LOTS of pictures to day, which was nice of her! Baby was moving around all over the place, very fun to see on the ultrasound!

Baby was upside down and did a flip for the rest of the pictures......very wiggly!

This one makes us think it is a girl........very "woah is me".......and the fact that this pregnancy/baby is way more trouble than Mason was.  We will see? :-)

 legs crossed in this one

Here are baby's feet.....one is 9mm long.....CRAZY how tiny that is!

Deep thinker!

More Bed Rest

Well, unfortunately I didn't get the news I was hoping for at my appointment on Tuesday. My hemorrhage was no smaller if not a little bit bigger than the week before. So, doc ordered another week of bed rest. :-(

I already had another ultrasound scheduled for next Tuesday so they will check the bleed again and go from there.

I am sad that I am missing a girls weekend in Chicago and a vacation the week after, but I know I need to do what is best for me and this little one. I am just feeling sorry for myself and frustrated in the mean time.

I guess the one good thing about all these appointments is getting to see the baby moving around and hearing the heartbeat. :-)

View of the baby from the back (back of the head and shoulders/back)

Looking straight at the baby (kinda creepy/alien looking in the face), not my favorite view.

Squirt Gun

Mason doesn't quite understand yet that you are supposed to squirt other people with squirt guns. He ended up getting pretty wet!

Sprinkler Fun

On a hot afternoon there is nothing better than playing in the sprinkler.....or standing in it with all your clothes on.

Don't you love his shades? :-)

Bed Rest

This isn't the way I wanted to announce to the world that Mason is going to be a big brother, but we are expecting baby #2 at the end of December! With baby #2 has come a complication. I have a subchorionic hemorrhage which is causing me to bleed. The wonderful news is that the baby is ok and the doctor ordered a week of bed rest hoping the bleeding subsides. I will have another ultrasound next Tuesday to see if the bleeding is smaller/stopped.

Fingers crossed for good news next Tuesday so I can get off the couch!

Also, a BIG thank you to our families for help with Mason. Since I am stuck on the couch Mason can't be here alone with me and everyone has stepped up to help make sure we are all taken care of! Most of all thank you to Andy for all of his help and support!

LOVE YOU ALL!

Here is a picture of our new addition! You can see the blood on the ultrasound if you look closely. It is the area above the baby's head that looks like a hairdryer or a duck's head. (at least that is what it looks like to me).  :-) It is a pretty big bleed, hence the bed rest.

Andy on the laptop and Mason on the iPad..........nice little Sunday morning!

Chocolate filled Pancakes

Our first breakfast in our new house was chocolate and strawberry filled mini pancakes/donuts. Mason was a BIG fan of the chocolate!
