Doggies

On Christmas morning Mason had a good time laughing at the puppies at my parents house. He really seems to like animals gets a good giggle whenever they come up to him!

String Cheese

We have started giving Mason some finger foods to chew on (more to practice putting things in his mouth on his own) and he seems to like string cheese a lot! Mostly he moves it around the counter and squishes it in his hand but every now and again some of it makes it into his mouth on his own. Pretty soon he will be feeding himself! YEAH!!!!!

Sledding

Here is a video of Mason sledding in Steamboat. He loved it!!!! I decided to leave the part of his face plant into the snow out because it was followed by about 15 minutes of whining and crying!

Sock Sucker

For some reason Mason REALLY likes his socks. It is a rare occasion if we pick him up from school and his socks are on. If they are on, it isn't long before he pulls them off and inserts them directly in his mouth and starts sucking. At least he can entertain himself with simple things! :-)

Sick Saturday

Once again, Mason got a trip to urgent care this weekend. He had a terrible nights sleep on Friday and woke up with a high temperature and not his normal happy baby self. Andy checked his ears and sure enough he had another ear infection so off to urgent care we went for more drugs. He is such a trooper! His fever broke Sunday morning and he was back playing in no time! You can't keep Mason down for long!

All he wanted to do was be cuddled...........which mommy loved, but I hated to seem him feel so bad!

I don't know who this was harder on, Mason or Mommy?!?! It is not fun seeing your baby sick!

Standing on my own

After bath time this weekend we decided to play in Mason's room for a change and try our his toy table. He did a great job of holding himself up. His legs are freakishly strong!!!!! Once he starts walking we are introuble!!!!!!

Eating String Cheese

We started giving Mason string cheese to nibble on and he really seems to like it. We usually rip it up into small pieces but Friday night he grabbed the whole stick and started chewing on it with his 2 teeth. Yep, we have 2 teeth now! :-)

Mason had a blow-up bathtub to use in Steamboat and he seemed to enjoy it just as much without water!

Sledding

We took Mason sledding while in Steamboat. He loved it just up until the point he did a face plant into the snow. After that we had major tears and he wasn't having anything else to do with the snow!
