Jeep

Uncle David was sooooooo excited to give Mason his Power Wheels for his birthday! The week before Mason saw the box and kept saying "my tractor" and "open, open, open". We also had MAJOR tears when mommy took the box to the dumpster. Little did he know that his tractor was waiting for him under a blanket. His excitement did not disappoint. Mason was so excited to drive his new Jeep and was VERY sad when we had to take a break for dinner. He is going to have some major fun with this toy!

So much fun but we need to learn to drive with our hands on the wheel. He was a no hands driver. :-) We will work on the steering.

Daddy and David had to do some major damage control to keep him from crashing into trees and rocks. he found it very funny when people would chase after him to keep him from crashing.

We took Mason to the Colorado Railroad Museum for his birthday. What a perfect place for a 2 year old who LOVES trains! He probably said "choo-choo" 1000 times. We got lucky with the weather too...........it was such a beautiful day!

He also pointed at every choo-choo too.

Thomas

Mason got an early birthday present from his Grandma and Grandpa before they went back to Arizona. He loves his Thomas and has just as much fun playing with him off the track as he does on.

Side note.........he is missing his pants because of a leaky diaper. Fixed that problem and he took off playing before I could get a new pair on him!

A couple of weeks ago we took Mason to the playground near the house and he spent most of his time doing this.........

Don't mind the snot coming out of his nose at the end of the video.....we quickly took care of that! ;-)

Fire Station

Mason had his first visit to the fire station today. He LOVES fire trucks and talks about them ALL the time. He was a little intimated at first to go in the bay where the trucks were but quickly warmed up when he got to go in the trucks.

Grammy took him in Engine 1 and he got to drive (his favorite thing to do in the world).

Easter Eggs

We dyed Easter Eggs this weekend and Mason had the job of putting stickers on the eggs after they were dyed. He was not gentle enough to put the eggs in the dye so he was on sticker duty (would have been a MAJOR mess). He was pretty good at this job but not so great at setting the eggs down when he was done. However, he was very good at naming all of the colors! :-)

23 Months Old

We have one sticker left to use before my not so little boy turns 2.

Such a big boy now that he can climb up into the chair all by himself. He does however need me to remind him to SIT down so he doesn't fall.

Cabo

It was a very last minuet decision, but Mason and I went to Cabo for a long weekend with Uncle David and Cliff. We had a great time. Beautiful weather (as usual) and lots of fun in the sun!
