2 Week Appointment & A Sick Kid

Cooper had his 2 week appointment on Thursday. He is weighing in at a hefty 8 lbs and the pediatrician had nothing but good things to say about our growing boy! We won't go back to the doctor until he is 2 months old.

Our visit did double duty because Mason was also sick. He spent all day Wednesday throwing up with a high fever so we thought it would be good to get him checked out. They said it was viral but he got a lot worse Friday night into Saturday morning. Turns out he has pneumonia. We spent all day parked on the couch with our sick little guy. He is just like his daddy when he is sick…..all he wanted to do was sleep and be in the dark. Luckily he is doing better today (and by better I mean he is off the couch and eating a little bit…..no where close back to Mason speed). Fingers crossed that this stays away from the rest of us!

Broncos

Well, Cooper was all ready to cheer on the Broncos yesterday but unfortunately they weren't able to get it done. Better luck next year!

Comparisons

People keep asking if Cooper and Mason look alike, and I say no at this point……….But every now and again he looks a little like Mason in a picture.

In case you can't tell, Cooper is on the left and Mason is on the right.

All I know is I have 2 adorable boys!!!

Bath Time

Cooper had his first bath at home (because he blew out his diaper….EVERYWHERE) and he enjoyed laying in the sun after it was over. He is such a sweet little guy! :-)

Feeding Cooper

Mason has been pretty helpful with Cooper (as helpful as a 2 1/2 year old can be) and he had fun helping Andy feed Cooper.

Onesie Stickers

I didn't start using the onesie stickers with Mason until after he was a year old. It will be fun to see how much Cooper changes and grows during his first year!

Cooper Andrew Buchholz

Well, he had to be forced out, but he is here! Cooper Andrew Buchholz was born on December 29th at 3:55 pm. He weighed 7 lb 9 oz and was 21.5 in long. Luckily my labor was pretty easy like it was with Mason and Cooper and I are both doing great.

Mason is adjusting well to being a big brother. He is a great helper and loves giving Cooper hugs and kisses. We are just working on being "gentle" with our hugs. He is going to be a great big brother.

We are so in love with our new little man and can't wait for everyone to meet him.

Christmas 2011

It has taken me a while to get the Christmas pics uploaded and on the blog. We have been a bit busy. :-)
