Pancake Breakfast

One of the local fire departments had a pancake breakfast and we took the boys over to see the fire trucks. Little did we know they were giving rides on the fire trucks! Mason got to ride in the front seat ALL BY HIMSELF! He was a little skeptical at first but had a HUGE smile on his face when they got back.

Birthdays Galore

We just go back from a week in Cabo to celebrate some birthdays. I turened 33 on the 24th and Uncle David turned the BIG 30 on the 28th! He had a bunch on friends come down to help him celebrate the big occasion! Here are some of my favorite pictures from the big week.

On David's actual birthday we took a boat from San Jose to Downtown Cabo. So much fun!

ELEPHANTS!

The Denver Zoo just opened it's new Asian Tropics exibit which will be the new home to one of Mason's favorite animals…….the elephants! It has been a long time since we have seen the elephants at the zoo becasue they moved them to their new home a long time ago. We were able to do the members preview and see the elephants before the exhibit opened. Mason was soooo excited to see the elephants again. They have such nice home with so much space. I am sure we will be visiting them a lot this summer!






We also got to see the baby orangutan. Not a great picture but he is climbing the tree with his mama!


The brown bear was playing on the swing in the water. It was really cute.

Solid Food

A couple of weeks ago we started Cooper on solids. It took him a day or two but he is getting the hang of eating from a spoon. I can't say he is a neat eater, but he will gobble it down!

Cooper 4 Month Stats

Following in his big brother's footsteps, Cooper is going to be a big boy too! He weighed in at 17.2 lbs (75%) and was 26" long (75%).  Mason's stats were right around here at the 4 month mark as well. The pediatrician thought he was doing awesome. We started him on some reflux meds at the beginning of the month and he seems to be doing much better with his feedings. Not screaming at mommy all the time.

I thought these pictures pretty much summed up what he has been doing these days.

Imagine a loud bird like noise coming out of his  mouth in this picture.


If he isn't eating then he has his fingers/hands in his mouth.

Mason 3 Year Stats

I am way behind on updating the blog so this is the first of many. Mason had his 3 year well-child check and just as we had suspected he is HUGE! He weighed in at 37.8 lbs (92%) and was 40.5" long (97%).  The pediatrician thought he was doing everything right where he should be (and that even the tantrums were normal). HA!
