Arizona

We just got back from a great long weekend visiting Grandma and Grandpa in Arizona! The weather was beautiful and the boys got lots of play time with Grandma and Grandpa and lots of pool time!

We also visited the "train park"one morning. Mason was so excited to go because he went last year with Grandma and Grandpa. We rode the train, played on the playground, and saw lots of awesome model trains!

Then of course we did more swimming and playing!

And this is what we came home to...............

Bubbles, Bubbles, Bubbles

The Easter Bunny brought Mason a bubble gun in his Easter basket, but unfortunately it didn't work. We left a note for the Easter Bunny and in return he left Mason $10 to go get a new one. :-)
Turned out to be entertainment for all because Cooper LOVES chasing bubbles around (and trying to eat the bubble gun too-YUCK)!

Big Boy

Cooper won't seem to let us forget how big he is getting. He has been able to climb up on the couch for some time now by himself. He is so proud when he does it, and I though this little naked-baby-after-bath picture was too cute.

Messy Day

It is no secret Cooper is a messy eater. Yesterday was no exception!

First was the pudding face after lunch..........

Then came the guacamole with dinner.................

Guess who got an extra scrubbing in the tub last night?!?!

Playground Fun

I put both boys in the double stroller and headed to the park. Let me say that my load has gotten A LOT heavier from this time last year. My tush was feeling it this morning! We enjoyed a nice day at the playground.

Mason was insistent on going in the baby swings, even though I told him he was too big. Needless to say he needed my help to get out! HA!

He also liked going down the pole by himself with a little encouragement from Mommy at first.

Hard Core

Mason has been very into his Jeep lately and wants to ride it regardless of the temperature. After nap the other day I took him out and it was a bit chilly. He stopped driving and asked me to get his mittens and hat because he was cold. Didn't want to go inside, just wanted his hat and mittens. I stood there freezing for 30 minutes while he drove all over the place. This kid cracks me up sometimes!

Mr Piddles

Lately, Cooper has been playing in the kitchen while I am making dinner. He loves to sit and piddle with the bowls and bang everything around. The video is long, but I just think it is cute to watch him piddle with things. He sat and did this for over 30 min.............my video is 3 min if you want to watch him. :-)

Ohio State

After our Easter Party fun, Grammy and Grandpy came over to watch Ohio State play basketball. Mason was excited to wear an Ohio State hat and cheer for "Grandpy's team". They didn't win, but I got a cute picture of all 3 boys in their Buckeye gear. And yes, those are Ohio State slipper my dad is wearing! Haha

Easter Party

Our County Club puts on great parties for the kids and Easter was no exception. So many fun activities, yummy food, and a great Easter Egg Hunt! Although, I wouldn't really call it a hunt as much as a free-for-all egg pick-up. Haha. Next year, Mason will be with the bigger kids and I am sure he won't get nearly as many eggs so we let them have their fun this year.

Spring Break 2013

I now truly understand why parents don't love spring break as much as the kids do. It was a fun week, but a very LONG week for this mama!

We started out the week in Beaver Creek for some end of the season skiing. Andy really wanted to get Mason out one last time because he did so well the week before in Breckenridge. Unfortunately, he only skied one more day because the weather was a bit too cold. I am sure next winter he will pick up right where he left off!

Cooper also can't wait to get in on a little skiing action. Don't think he will be riding the lifts next year, but he will definitely give it a try! 

Later in the week we went to the zoo with one of Mason's little girlfriends, Tatum. Mason loves Tatum! Talks about her all the time then talks some more about when he is going to see her again. He was so excited to go to the zoo with her. 

We finished up the week with some fun Easter activities......more to come on that!
