Elk

Saturday morning we heard some lound noises outside and found the elk herd in our back yard. They made their way around the house and some came into the front yard/driveway area (Mason quickly scared them away with his banging on the windown and yelling "hey elks).

There were a few deer co-mingling with the elk in the driveway.

Causing a major road block just hanging in the road.

This guy was pretty big!

A little while later another group came storming up to join their friends. For as big as they are, elk move pretty fast.

Crusin'

Mason recently found his sunglasses and has been wearing them a lot. Fitting that he was wearing them while driving his car around the house, but I don't think he needed them on the potty. HA!

X-mas Shopping

The Target Christmas catalogue came in the mail this week and Mason flipped through every page oohing and aahhing. His favorite page had all the Thomas toys (surprise, surprise)!

Art Class

We took a break from gymnastics to do a art class for 4 weeks. This week the kids got to finger paint a fish. Mason really has a lot of fun in this class.

HALLOWEEN

We went down to our friends (The McKinney's) for Halloween. Their neighborhood is much better for trick-or-treating than ours. Mason was a firefighter, and their little guy Miller was a dragon. They were so stinkin cute together!

Mason really got into Halloween more this year than last. He marched right up to the houses and rang the door bell and said "Trick-or-Treat" like a champ. He was also good at saying "Thank You" before we walked away. :-) He had waaayyy too much candy tonight but what are you going to do...........it's Halloween.

The wagon was a big hit with Miller. I think he will be getting one for his first birthday (which is right around the corner)!

Halloween Practice

We did a test run of Mason's costume the night before Halloween.........pretty cute if I do say so myself!

One of the most pretty views is of the mountains after a big snow........so beautiful!

Pumpkin Carving

 Mason had fun carving pumpkins. He especially liked all the "tools" he got to use!

He loved helping daddy use the drill to decorate one of the pumpkins.
