Go Broncos

Everyone in Denver is super excited about the Broncos this year........our house included. The boys were sporting their matching Manning jerseys today in support of the Broncos! Now lets just hope they win this game tonight!!!!!!

Day Out With Thomas

We had our yearly "Day Out With Thomas" this morning. Mason was like a kid on Christmas......way more excited this year than last (which is expected seeing as he is a year older). He couldn't wait to ride on Thomas and talked about it all weekend! It was such a beautiful morning, perfect for a train ride! :-)

Preschool

I am still in denial that Mason started preschool. He was so excited to so to his "new school", as we have been calling it. We had a great visit last week with his teachers and he couldn't wait to go back. He is going Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9-3, so not much different from what he was doing at his other school. We chose to move him to this one because it feeds into his elementary school. Hoping he will make lots of friends and continue to LOVE school!

Pool Fun

Newport Beach

For Labor Day Weekend we packed up the kids and headed out to Newport Beach. We pretty much spent all of our time in the pool, which was fine by me because it was pretty warm there. Mason had so much fun getting tossed around by Uncle David and some of his friends and Cooper had fun watching!

8 Months Old

Hard to believe my baby is 8 months old. Before I know it I will be writing his 1 year old post! At 8 months he weighs 22 pounds and still has 2 teeth (thinking more are on their way any day now). He is also soooooo close to crawling. He can still get anywhere he needs to go by rolling but we are now up on all fours rocking. It won't be long now! 

Luckily his cold is all gone and he is feeling much better! He is still too cute for words!

Movin' on Up

Cooper is getting too heavy for me to carry him in his infant carseat so we graduated him to the next one! Here is his first ride! :-)

My Sick Baby

I forgot how awful it is to have a sick baby. With Mason it was always easy, ear infection-antibiotics-get better. Cooper has just been plain sick. We thought he might have an ear infection and took him to urgent care last Friday night (why do these things always happen at night or on the weekend) and after the earwax was cleared-no ear infection. As the weekend/week went on he got more snotty and started a nasty cough. I took him back to the Dr yesterday because I didn't feel like he was getting better and I didn't want to make another trip to urgent care on the weekend. Still just a nasty cold but one of his ears was a little red. We decided to treat with antibiotics hoping it would make a little bit of a difference for him. Now if we could only get him to take his medicine. I think he is the only child on the face of the earth that doesn't like the taste of amoxicillin. If Mason sees that we have it in the house he would probably ask for some, he always drank it right down. HAHA! :-)

Future Girlfriend?

We have some friends at the club who have a daughter Masons age. They love to play together and we decided that they definitely need to be together when they are older! They are just too cute together! Her mom and I took some pictures of them last week to use as blackmail when they are older. :-)

Thomas Lover?

We have recently been noticing that when Mason is watching Thomas, Cooper stops what he is doing and watches right along with his big brother. It isn't just the occasional glance, he stops playing with his toys and stares at the tv. Kinda funny and kinda scary all at the same time. Mason didn't' become a Thomas monster until much later.
