Cabo

We just got back from a great week in Cabo. The weather was fantastic and we enjoyed every moment of the sunshine! The boys lived in the pool and on the beach. I spent most of my time chasing Cooper around the beach…….he is a very busy boy these days!

Luckily Cooper did not resist wearing his Puddle Jump this trip. It was so  nice to not worry about him (as much) and he could piddle around the entire pool by himself!

Our first night in Cabo, there was a fireworks show on the beach right in front of our hose. It was AWESOME! One of the coolest shows I have seen and it was great because Mason had never seen fireworks in person. The problem was he wanted fireworks every night after that. HA

We brought our Broncos gear to Mexico to cheer on our favorite team! 

The neighborhood where the house is has a great playground for kids. 

They also have a splash pad that the boys had a blast running around. The water was too cold for mommy to participate. ;)

Nightly walk to dinner. 

We went downtown for a day and stayed at a sister property. It was fun to be down on the busy beach and see all the boats and jet skiers in action. There was also a cruise ship parked close by and Mason couldn't get over how big the boat was. 

Strawberry smoothie time. Most of it ended up in the sand.

I tried to get a picture of the boys together…….No such luck. 

Only one would look at me at a time. 

This is the best I could get. All business!

Mason really thought he could catch the birds. It was funny. 

He also had a lot of fun walking out on a rock wall and jumping off when the waves were coming in. 

The boys loved it when Uncle David threw them way high up in the air! I think poor David's arms got a big workout with as many times as he lifted these big boys!

Aspen

The weekend after New Years we packed up the car and headed to Aspen for a long weekend. Mason was very anxious to ski and asked probably no less than 100 times on the way up when he could ski!
I unfortunately didn't get any pictures of him on the slopes but hopefully next time.

Someone was VERY sad when everyone left to go skiing. :(

But he got over it when I pulled his skis out to play with. 

The house we stayed in had the coolest bunk beds!

Here is short video of Cooper on his skis. He walked around for a little bit but then couldn't figure out how to turn around. We have some work to do! ;)

Cooper is 2!

Hard to believe it has been 2 years since Cooper joined our family. Time has flown by and these boys are growing up way too fast! Next milestone is Mason turning 5 and starting Kindergarten in the fall…….not ready for this yet.
We had a nice little party at the house for Cooper for family and some neighborhood friends. There were 6 kids under 5………aka: chaos! All the kids had a great time and there was a very large mess to show for their fun at the end of the night! ;)

Cooper somehow got ahold of a chicken wing. He is going to be just like his daddy……will eat ANYTHING!

The big gift of the night came from Uncle David and Cliff who gave Cooper his very own Range Rover. Should I be mad my kid drives a nicer car than me? Haha

It was such a nice day and I still can't believe my baby in 2!
