I am a little late with this one, but here he is........all 19 months of cuteness. His latest thing is sticking his tongue out when he smiles or is driving the jeep. He thinks he is pretty cute and I hate to let him know that he is definitely cute because he is full of trouble these days.......testing the waters every way he knows how! He is also talking a ton more and starting to repeat more of what we say. Very fun!
We go to the pediatrician in a could of weeks for his 18 month check-up so stay tuned for the big guys stats!

Music in the Meadow
Every summer the neighborhood puts on a little concert called Music in the Meadow. The day started out great but soon after we got there the wind picked up, the temperature dropped, and the rain started. The boys had fun dancing and eating pizza for the short time we were there.

Mason's Bum Toe
A while back Mason got a splinter in his toe. We thought we got it all out, but after a week the spot became very painful and discolored. Long story short, we ended up in urgent care where he had to get a "block" in his toe so the pediatrician could clean it out. NOT FUN! They gave him some medicine to help him relax before the block because it was going to be very painful and with the meds he probably wouldn't remember getting the shots in his toe. It it took 4 of us to hold him down and then only 2 once his toe was numb. Poor guy was such a trooper! His toe is doing so much better (as he reminds me everyday). Here are some pics of us in urgent care and a really funny video of him drugged up. It is long but very funny!
Just got the "happy" meds! |
Zoned out to the max! HA |
All done and happy with a popsicle! |
He got a 2nd popsicle when we had to go back for meds......happy boy! |

Cute Videos
Here are some cute videos from our trip.
We went out for pizza at a place where they have a big climbing structure. The little guys couldn't climb all over everything but they had fun dancing.
The boys had soooo much fun running through the sprinkler.
On our last day there we (Kimberly and myself) really wanted to go the pool but Mason really wanted to run through the sprinkler again. So, we left the decision up to Alex. :-)
I love how Cooper climbs up on the chair for a photo during the video. HA

Midwestern Fun
Well, I survived my first flight alone with the boys! It wasn't the most fun, but we did it! They are definitely getting easier to travel with and Mason was amazing! Very helpful and sat so nicely in his seat. Which was great because I was wrestling Cooper for most of the flight to Moline. :)
We had a fun week visiting friends in Iowa. Cooper and his buddy Alexander are 2 weeks apart and had a ball playing together. We are already planning on them being roommates at CU together! ;)
Getting excited for the flight! |
Cooper & Alexander |
Mason got the boys to laugh by banging on the table. |
Adam has a VERY cool John Deere tractor that Mason couldn't wait to ride on. |
Even Cooper got a turn! |
Boys burning some energy! |
Taco Pizza-Best Pizza Ever |
Shocked that my kid wanted to ride the train...... |
Of course Cooper needed a ride too! |
This is what happens when you share a bed with Mason. |
When Mason needed to soak his bum toe, he would make a little tent and play iPad quietly by himself. This time Cooper came in for a visit too. |
Alex had some fun toys my boys liked to fight over......shocking, I know. |
Can't go to the Quad Cities without a visit to the John Deere Museum! |
This kid was all over the place! |
Tractors make him soooooo happy! |
Our good friends the Hancocks drove from DesMoines for a visit. It was so great to see them! Haven't seen their kiddos since we left Madison. |
My blue-eyed boy having fun in the sprinkler. |
Sprinkler fun! |
Nutella ice cream......enough said! |
We tried for so long to get a decent picture of the boys. |
Playground fun! |
Couldn't get a smile out of both of them at the same time.......I tried though. |
There was NO way we were going to get all 3 looking and or smiling at the camera at the same time. HA |
Back at the airport ready to head back to CO. I have a ton of cute videos I am working on uploading...........stay tuned! |
