A while back Mason got a splinter in his toe. We thought we got it all out, but after a week the spot became very painful and discolored. Long story short, we ended up in urgent care where he had to get a "block" in his toe so the pediatrician could clean it out. NOT FUN! They gave him some medicine to help him relax before the block because it was going to be very painful and with the meds he probably wouldn't remember getting the shots in his toe. It it took 4 of us to hold him down and then only 2 once his toe was numb. Poor guy was such a trooper! His toe is doing so much better (as he reminds me everyday). Here are some pics of us in urgent care and a really funny video of him drugged up. It is long but very funny!
